The Scorpion 411 from HESS Cash Systems has been exclusively installed in the new Merkur Casino in Leuna, Saxony-Anhalt.
This is the first casino of the Gauselmann Group to be opened in Germany. HESS Cash Systems is a 100 per cent-owned subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group.
The Scorpion 411 is a multi-functional casino system with complete security and flexibility and so can be used 24 hours a day. There is no cash desk at the new Casino Leuna as all wins are paid out in ticket form – on the slots, electronic tables and live tables. A total of three such completely automatic machines are available to all the guests at this new, prestigious casino.
The Scorpion 411 is used for a multiple of purposes at Casino Leuna. All ticket wins are redeemed at the Scorpion 411. The Scorpion 411 pays out the exact sum, to the last cent, as five separate coin hoppers have been built in to ensure this.
Players can independently have their wins exchanged for cash in the form of banknotes and coins at the Scorpion 411 for all prizes up to 2,000 euros. For any wins above this amount, then a casino supervisor authorises pay-out – again through the Scorpion 411.
Refilling / reloading must be simple for the casino operators to carry out. Therefore, the Scorpion 411 has the front entry capability. The key components for refilling / reloading are all placed in such a way within the machine that personnel with permitted access to the machine may open it from the front. The Scorpion also acts as a bill breaker so guests have this change machine facility also available.
Erik De Kat is in charge of the sales department at HESS Cash Systems and personally attended the casino opening. He stated, “The demands on the Scorpion 411 are very high at Casino Leuna.
